Back in March 2020 we met with our client and implemented a package of cover that was cost effective to her, which provides support in the event of Accident / Illness / Critical Illness & Death.

Part of the package was some Life Cover with Zurich, and we added on their benefit for claims in the event of a Fracture etc.

Event

March 2025 our client called to advise that while catching up with a friend over a cuppa, she got up to leave and caught her foot under the sofa, losing her balance and falling. In the process she fractured her elbow.

We discussed her cover, and a claims process was initiated.

Outcome

Given the cover with Zurich, our client was able to claim successfully, providing her with a lump sum of funds to ease financial pressures while she was in recovery.

The whole process from start of claim to settlement took only 2 weeks and our client was very pleased with how easily this was addressed.
